15m long 2.5 tonne steel old beams removal from St. Peters Church, Coventry Job for Fosse Homes, Duotech slinger/banksman plus lift supervisor handle all aspects of lifting procedure. 50 tonne crane used to perform lift, at 32m boom length. One 2 leg chains, 10 tonne SWL used. Lifting sequence performed to method statement.

Duotech lift supervisor plus slinger/banksmans for North Midlands Construction/MVM at Junction 26 M1 motorway Northbound. Unload and install 8x 70 Tonne 32m long road bearing beams for the 4 lane bridge widening project on the M1. Lifting procedure involved 2 Lanes of the M1 closed at 8pm – 5am, Nottingham Road Kimberley completely closed from 8pm – 5am. Spread of beams used to lift load, via rope slings used to lift load, shackles used to connect wire loop slings together plus 2 spread of beam. 500 tonne crane used with 165 tonnes counterweight. Radio’s used for signaling, lifting sequence completed over 2 nights to method statement.

Duotech 30 Tonne crane 1 slinger/banksman plus 1 lift supervisor unloaded and installed a 1.2 tonne 3m squared hot delivery truck backed upto crane onto clients drive. 2 leg chains attached to load by slinger/banksman, load hoisted up and lifted over clients property and installed into position. According to pre-prepared method statement.

Machine removal onto transportation contract lift for Field Associates Duotech Crane Hire use Duotech lift supervisor plus slinger/banksman to complete lifting sequence. First a small 8 tonne crane drives into building up to client’s 15 tonne load which is on skates. Chains are attached to load, 8 tonne crane then takes the weight of load which is then dragged to building entrance. At this point chains are detached, second crane is moved into position 4 leg chains are attached, load is lifted 2m into the air, transporter drives under load. Load is loaded into position, lifting sequence performed to method statement.

Dimension 2.5m x 1.3 x 0.5m plus 5m long steel beams. Ground condition poor, steel rigger mat’s used 2m x 1m square to support crane. 4x 2tonne shackles used plus 2 leg chains used Duotech Crane Hire slinger/signaller plus lift supervisor complete all lift sequences.
